Kuwait Air/Airport Experience???

Greetings,

I'll be arriving in Pattaya in several days.  I'm coming from working offshore (Cairo) so company pays may why to Thailand.  

In the past I've normally flown through Dubai, Qatar or AbuDabi.  This time they booked me through Kuwait on Kuwait Air with a six hour layover.

I've googled reviews and most if not all reviews are negative.

Just wondering if any BM's have had recent experience with the Airport/Airlines.

Kuwait were the only airline that I have flown that was truely "dry"
