Food menu, Thai and farang, with prices is on the PBG's web site.

They have draught beer as well as bottled.

Cannot see them operating a full menu and reduced hours is also likely, at least until October/ November ,but the beer choices will remain.

Taken today by one of the staff who are there getting ready for the big open.

Will social distancing not be required?

They will mark some spots with duct-tape X "don't sit there", just like every other place does.

They probably don’t expect to be busy enough to require screens/moving tables etc, plenty of room to avoid other punters .

The PBG is one of my favourite bars/ restaurants and hope it survives as it’s a very popular place for lunch and evening meals with great views. Good to meet up with mates or take a date there too. It’s just different and nicer than to going to most bars etc

The vibe is nice as great choice of foods and drinks and good choice of vdo music too....esp near over priced WS. Agreed it’s not fine dining but the western and thai foods have been reasonably ok and never a sickness problem.

Hope the get rid of the crappy old boxing ring bars at the front entrance as they’re an eyesore and past the sell by date.

Great!! Does anyone know whats happening with the vacant space there then??

Hope the PBG gets a better entrance from this too to keep getting the punters in.

Supposedly building a new Beer Bar Complex without a boxing ring.

I have eaten here few times and I have had a really good plate but also the average ones.
But still I like the view and it's nice place to meet up with friends and BM's before going to WS.

Nice view from PBG

This is the spot I go when I wanna be alone, in fact I went here tonight and I like that they removed those "speed bumps" from the long hall way entry to the place.  It started pissing down rain so I stayed longer than I anticipated.

I've often ate breakfast here and, maybe someone else can clear this up for me because I've ordered "bacon" or at least what I expected to be bacon on a few occasions and it's more like a "ham steak."  The "bacon" they serve here is not at all what I'm accustomed to and caught me off guard and I did not like it.

The Thai food is all very good and so are their sandwiches and fish dishes.

Sounds like what’s called Canadian bacon.

I was there a few days ago.

They changed their menu for now.

Reduced the items but still plenty as they kept most the favorites.

She did say after everything is in full swing they will bring back the old menu.

  • Love the place, the drinks and the grub, saying that last time I was in there(Oct 2019)  I had a burger, went straight through me. I got as far as the bogs in Mike Mall....re-decorated the walls from both ends.

Will be back for the first time in mid June
