As a retired seafarer who used to work on the Liverpool Dublin route I was saddened today to here of the loss of the Irish Coast Guard Dublin based Helicopter 116 and her crew on a rescue. I used to see her regularly practicing using our ship she will be missed !

They have now recovered both pilot's the 2 crewmen are still missing and they are hoping to recover the aircraft shortly when a specialist ship.arrives to find out what happened. Saved many lives but lost their own.
