Last clarification I had was that naked bums do not constitute nudity for the purpose of PA Rules.

Anyway it is not as good as the old "New content " as it puts all posts up separately (leading to a lot of scrolling) and does not put all posts concerning a particular topic into that topic folder.

Also instead of having Pages it asks "Load More Activity" so you soon lose track of whether you have looked at that page before especially as posts to the same topic keep popping up.

Before i used my Dutch name and the password to log in . If i use jerry instead now it seems to work .

Another one ... 

just received 46 identical emails in 6 minutes to notify me that a member has posted in a thread i follow .

One would do ... and when i look in the thread the post isn't even there .  

The mails come in on my phone and it can get a bit annoying at night ... .

I gather there is a problem but for starters go and check/reset your Notifications.

Can anyone see the 'Ignore this Topic' button?

But you have to sign up to see them. As far as I'm aware naked bums are not allowed as avatars.

Things I like about the new board (so far)  1) It seems to be much faster, 2) I like the popups notifying me of someone liking or commenting on a post

I made (I assume). 3) When writing a response or quoting it is easier (to me) and faster. Things I don't like 1) too many to list here but....................

I'm keeping an open mind along with there isn't a f__cking thing I can do about it other than not visit the board which I don't want to do. So I

must "get with the program" as they say.

The "Unread Content" excludes stuff we've already read if there are no new posts in it.

I'm slowly getting to grips with this system now and the "All Activity" option is the one I most use as sometimes, even though I've read posts in a topic and there's been no new ones, I return to them because of something I've read in other topics.

My only issue, although its a minor one, is the "Status Updates" appearing at the top and having to scroll past them. I don't think most of us are interested in seeing them unless we want to find them.

While I agree with Cuppa on Unread Content’ I disagree with him on ‘Activity’. It is a poor substitute for New Content

I keep repeating “New Content (ie Read posts) is not the same as Unread posts.”

Having read a post in ‘New content’ I want to go back and read it again after taking time to do some research or look out a photo so I can make a suitable Reply. Unread Content does not allow me to do this.

 Unfortunately I fail to understand how the new server (?) can support ‘Unread Content’ and ‘Activity’ but cannot support ‘New Content’ (as it was before) as has been implied. They are just variations of the same theme.

If so, then I might reconsider as I see that damned Footer isn't there and that alone stops me using it.

Are you referring to the signature footer? You can turn that off in the Tapatalk settings.

I think I'm going to write to BMW and tell them I miss round headlights.

Might as well - their current crop of headlight designs pretty much sucks and is the reason my next car won't be a BMW - if I want that, I might as well buy Japanese.

Yes...I'd heard that you can turn it off your end.....but it seems most people don't?

I'd also gathered that Forums could turn them all off.....but this one didn't.

So far I've yet to see one since the upgrade, so I'm hoping the default is now to block them.
