Great service by the Thai Embassy in London

Have just returned to the UK after a 30 day visa exempt trip. I decided to apply for a 60 day tourist visa for next time.

I sent off an application form with my passport, two photos and a £10 postal order to the Thai Embassy in London.

Posted Royal Mail Special Delivery on Wednesday 22nd. Passport was returned today 28th complete with visa.

Glasgow is pretty quick as well just now, handed in the form and my passport last Thursday at 9.30am, went and had some breakfast and a look around some shops in town and got a phone call telling me my passport was ready at 11.30pm.

My friend had a similar experience with the London embassy for his 3 month Christmas trip. It makes you wonder what is the point of dealing with the consulates like the one in Hull

I blame Brexit!

On a serious note, once you learn that you can RMSD your passport to the embassies it makes things so much easier visa wise.
