Right I know when I started this thread it was purely for courses In Thailand and Pattaya area particular.

However today I got the chance to play one of the top 50 course in the world Royal Aberdeen GC.

My Friend is a member there and invited myself,my dad and uncle up to play a round. Normally it's £130(5400 bhat) a round. However as we where guest we got on for £20 each. 

To say the conditions where difficult would be to say the least. 30mph winds in to our face on the way out which is the tightest of the 9. We then got all 4 seasons on one round,wind,rain,sun and hail stone. 

Course measure 6500 yards today and it felt so much longer than that. The course was established in 1871 and is a typical links course with large dunes right on the North Sea. The Scottish open was hosted here in 2014 with Justin Rose pipping Big Phil for the title.the cours that day was over 7200 yards. 

Took some photos for you all to see. Personally I played bang average and found it super super hard going out.

I arrive in Thailand 22 days time so this has given me a chance to try uploading photos for the 1st time ever. 

The one on the fairway is of my pals suprise that after 13 holes my uncle Rick finally hit a fairway.

I'm back after a the Easter break.

Our last week (of 3) we played at courses we had already been to in the 1st 2 weeks so I'll just post some pics.

We always try to play the better courses a couple of times. Khao Kheow saw us 3 times.
