Do I still need an international driving permit

Can any fellow mongers help me with this question, I've got a Thai driving licence which is valid until 2018 and when I got it I produced an international driving permit(idp)as well as my English driving licence, the question I have is do i need to renew my idp and bring my english licence with me next time im in thailand in case i get stopped by the police or will they just accept my thai licence when im asked to produce any documents etc.

If you have a Thai licence then you're covered.

Don't need an an IDP or U.K. licence.
