Braces

Can anyone tell me about having braces done in Pattaya/Thailand?  Is it something that is feasible or should I just suck it up in Australia?

This is for my daughter, she's almost 11 and if she does end up needing braces I would love to have them done in Thailand, as long as it's a good job of course, and as long as it's ok once she's back here.

I don't know much about braces other than after they are on you visit the dentist  for a checkup/tightening?  Is that right?  If so, could an Australian dentist tighten Thai braces, or is it a lost cause?

Mrs Colin had her teeth straightened with braces a few years ago. It involved monthly visits to the dentist for about two years. You really need to discuss this with a dentist before you start. I can forsee problems if the braces are fitted in one place, and then have to be adjusted somewhere else.
