each to their own but a lot of times it can be better going solo.  you drink at your own pace, leave when you want to leave, none of that your mate fancies one and you dont, he wants to go and you want to stay etc.

you can interact with foreigners all year back home. use your opportunnity and spend your time with some lovely thai ladies, i know there is a language barrier and it can get quite boring if you think like an adult. just behave like a neanderthal extinction.

There's only one thing you need to know about Pattaya....assuming that you have the baht....you never need to be alone unless you want to....which leads to the obvious question...who would you rather spend your time with? A beautiful woman or....

Depends on the person as far as the solo thing. I've had many trips alone and many with friends/meeting random guys from PA. I always have better times with the wingmen.

 

I think it depends on your style though. If you come to Patts and want to bang 3-5 diff girls a day or are just looking for a really good GFE having friends is just going to slow you down. I'm the type who likes to drink alot of beer hit up 10+gogos a night and hit discos. I'm more enjoying partying and the easy available girls are a bonus to the great party. Diff strokes for diff folks.

I also enjoy having a wingman.  I couldn't convince my friend to come--he was very close to agreeing, but couldn't get over his morality issues.   I hate being that weird guy alone staring at everyone.  

You'll find that is just your self perception and nothing more. Trust me, no one cares you are there alone looking at girls. Wingman can be great. Best option is to mix it up and do wingman/solo on the same trip. Easily done in Pattaya.

A wingman is great, but being by myself is great because nobody can see all the bad shit I get up to. .

I've never ever been bored alone in Pattaya. Actually I prefer hitting the bars & gogos alone cos then I can drink at my own pace, leave when I want and less competition when I spot a girl I really like.

I can hang with my mates as much as I want back home. Pattaya...it's all about the girlies.

know the feeling, although I'm alright by myself or with some friends.  The only thing that I found was useful when I went on my past trip with my friends was that I had a visible person i can tell a bar girl that I needed to go meet to get away.  The first time I went I was by myself so I couldn't use that to get away.

If you're happy with your own company, being alone ain't an issue. If a girl asks me if I'm here alone, I say "I'm here with you"

I think it's good to have the chance to just chill at a bar with a wingman enjoy a drink and discuss the passing female prospects but I also agree that it's sort of easier and more free to go solo when your looking for the right fem to spend a few baht on. Best of both worlds is sitting at a bar listen to a guy order a drink if he is speaking English and also solo, strike up a chat and possibly gain a temp wingman.

Shit I do that in the states sometime after a long day at work!  Observing people while sitting all manspread on the stool at the end of the bar.

Depending on the types of places you go, there is nothing to seem to be strange. Just make sure you are in a motion, dun look like a bored guy... If you are alone, it might be difficult to go to the non p4p places. So i recommend that you do not go to them.
