I talked to a couple of girls and they all have life insurance. Is this common for people in thailand to get life insurance? I would think they would be better spending their money on something else. From what I was told, they spend about 3500 baht for a 100,000 baht policy.

My wife pays about 40,000 a year for a 3 mil policy. I don't know if it was required when she bought her house or not. I just know I pay it every year, and I've seen the paperwork, so it's real. she wants to make sure her mom is taken care of, any of you with a wife or serious GF know what I'm talking about.

my missus pays 33k that's for her and 3 kids, this year she has had her moneys worth as shes been in hospital 3 times for 2 days each and all together BANGKOK PATTAYA hospital bills were 51k
