OK Fellas!,

 

My fantasy of living in thailand begins on the 26th.  Will be arriving and heading straight to pattaya.  staying at flipper lodge for 3 weeks which will give me time to find housing I like.  Ill stay for just under four months, head back to states for summer and then back to los in the fall.

 

Hit me up as I would enjoy meeting up.  In addition someone mentioned in a trip report about a LINE ID on the ground group for both bkk and pattaya.   I used the search function but no luck in coming up with more about that.  Any info on that would be appreciated

Having read your previous posts. Good luck on your trip and retirement.. Pattaya is great place to retire early at, especially now that you got time, money and your good health.

 

I retired in my mid 50's and chose to only spend 3-4 months in Pattaya/SEAsia. Should be back in Thailand mid august, probably see you around then.

 

You should check in with Coop at Chik-N-Coop Bar. He's the american owner and a good source of info on retirement living in Pattaya and for Veterans if that applies to you.

Thanks for the tip.  Ill reach out to coop when I get there.  Not a veteran, but always have my respect  Im early 50's   will be spending summers back in the states.  may through end of sept.  The rest in thailand.  just need to get all that visa crap in order.  not sure if my "retirement" will be in pattaya.  exploring all of thailand to see what is best for my personality
