Has anyone flown this route?

Their prices are £373 at a busy time just before easter. Most other airlines are at least £100 more.

Stopover is 2 hours in Mumbai. The LDN flights are on a 777-300 & the BKK leg is on the smaller 737-900.

One of my rules when looking at flights is:

'Don't fly via India'.

Nothing I've heard or read has persuaded me to change this rule.

I generally agree, I wasn't even considering this airline at all. But all the very good middle eastern carriers are a lot more expensive at these dates.

Some of the reviews online seem to be okay for Jet though.

Quatar with short dip down coming in at £412 for the 12 April...

Looking for the 3rd of April until the 13th

Plus or minus a day or two.

The cheapest Jet fares appear to have longer stopovers? Maybe some agents still have the short connections but best price I could find for those was just over £400?

Etihad are showing at £464 but with very long stopovers.

Kayak have a cheap fare mixing BA & Qatar. I wouldn't want to fly BA, but maybe better than flying via India?

It's £369 with 90 minutes stop on way out and 3 and a half hours on way back. BA on LHR legs and Qatar on BKK legs.

Gulf is showing as well but are crap.

Once you select this fare you go to "omegatravel" website and when you try to book the fares, they are conveniently not avaiable anymore.

This happens A LOT I find on search engine sites.

I presume they want to reel you in and then talk to them about a higher fare. Very frustrating.

Sorry about that. I did wonder.

I only use comparison sites to get an idea of fares then book with the airline, or 2 or 3 agents I'm happy with.

For your dates 3-13 Southall have that Quatar flight at £400.

The same thing, when you call them up the flight is £200 more expensive.

These 3rd party booking firms are mostly a com to reel you in.

Not in my experience. Travel Trolley and Cystal Travel have been sublime for me
