I think i wanna book a condo for my trip in May. I read centre condo is pretty decent place to stay. Location is good with nice little pool. I cant arsed with hotels anymore. I want to come and go as i please. I want to cook my own food and have a sofa to lay back and relax with a girl. 

 

Anyone stayed there before?

Fair amount of refurbishment done last couple of years.

Not easy to book online. I only found one site and it's been down a while.

Walk ins shouldn't be a problem.

 

Fine for renting. I wouldn't buy there (but that's another story!)

I always stay in a condo now and have had no problems.

I just don't know any agents that deal with Center Condo.

 

I avoid AirBnB, though I know they're popular.

 

There are reliable agents that rent in VT6 but it's expensive.

I am 99% sure that some BM,s live there because somewhere on this forum I read their comments about the place.

 

Sorry I'm not much help but if you search around you may find the posts somewhere on the forum

I know of 2 BM's that live there but am not sure they want it to be public knowledge - I worked it out from their posts.

Centre condo (dont you mean centric?) seems a good choice and i also would like to know a reliable agent. If you find one please let me know.

Center Condo is an older building near TukCom.

Centric Sea Condo is a quite new building near Soi 6.

How old is that place? It was old and showing it's age 10 years ago, I'd hope they did some kind of upgrade since then.

Lots of work done since then.

pay a middle man to rent a place that the OP already knows the location and has an idea he want's to stay there?!? OP just go to the front office downstairs and avoid some middle man farang trying to get your money.

I Have not rented there ,but i know two guys that live there and have visited several times .Always thought it was one of the better options especially regarding location. One guy has lived there since 2002,although he only stays three months before returning to the states,don`t think he`s thought of moving out.Within walking distance of everywhere and ideal for renting i`d have thought.

 

P.S both i have been in have sea views and overlook the temple,can get noisy if fair or something else on.

Errrrr yes, that's how agents make their living, because even if people know where they want to stay (same with VT6) many of them use an agent's services because otherwise they won't be able to find a selection of those available to rent and book in advance with a contract.

 

I'm not recommending Steve or any other agent, but in case you missed it, someone asked.

 

Steve just happens to be the guy who is credited with turning things around so along the way many owners have placed condo's with him for letting and they don't advertise themselves so you would probably not find them otherwise.

As Strider said the front office is not likely to be cheaper than agents.

 

I dont know if it makes much difference but for anyone searchint the spelling is US...CENTER not Centre.

Actually I just checked and there are quite a few topics titled correctly as CENTER Condo on PA which do not come up on a Search using Centre.

 

Might I suggest that in the future interests of those who search by the correct spelling that the title of this one is edited.

no, but i know falangs that have used them without problem

Do not and mean DO NOT go into the office at Center Condo and ask them about renting a condo there.

 

I won't go into details for various reasons, but stay away from those people.
