February 4-star recommendation

Recommended Posts

Looking for a couple weeks from mid-February.

Want to splurge on a nicer place.

2000-2500/night.

Can't stay at another LK property again.

Would like central Pattaya/Beach Rd area for convenience.

Any great recommendations like this?

Areca Lodge is a very good large hotel between Soi Buakhao and Second Road. Has a range of rooms at different prices.

Two pools, small gym.

Lively area.

I stayed Sea Me Spring Too in Nov. Good location, room was about 1750 per night.

I think anything over 1200 baht per night in a mongering town like Pattaya is not worth the money.

Who stays longer than 9 hours per day in their room? I know i don't.
All i need is a clean room in a central location to sleep and shower.

I understand the need for luxury.

Your on holidays, why stay cheap.

An extra $2-300 for the trip and it makes a huge difference

You don't go to Pattaya for luxury, you hang out in bars and bang girls.

To bang more girls.

True but don't waste it on hotels, i did this my first time in Thailand, 80.000 baht for 3 weeks staying in Patong Beach hotel, still regret it after 5 years.

His holiday, his money - there is no "right way" which is the beauty of holidays.

I also understand the idea of saving cash for girls, but when I'm at work I live in a donger (container room)

So to splurge a little for a place with a pool, good bed, good a/c and big bathroom whilst on holidays.

I'll stick with paying the extra.

Holiday Inn would be my pic, because the room has a good Shower - glass doors can see from the Room.

Place also has a decent Pool to chill out in the day.

Beach Rd close to Soi6 and easy to get a Baht bus to and from Walking Street.

LK has a certain feel to it, good value if you chose the right one, but sometimes need an upgrade

Cantara Pattaya. in your budget range. sometimes, less if they have a special. check their website.

stones throw (literally) from Soi 6. easy access to baht buses. no joiner fees. at least not for 3 extra guests.

friendly and helpful staff. decent pool. on site restaurant (pretty good) and room service if needed.
