Pattaya to Bangkok on New Years eve and back next day

Hi,

I need to get from Pattaya to Bangkok on new years eve and back to Pattaya on January 1. I have emailed a few car services, but so far they have all responded that they are closed on both those days, and will not be able to provide a car.

 

Any suggestions?

Does the regular bus or mini-bus service run? And if so, where from in Pattaya? And will they take my luggage?

How much is a normal taxi off the street?

Any one tried Uber between cities?

A buddy took Uber Bangkok to Pattaya, said fare was 1,400b. Since Pattaya is not an Uber market, think you would have to get lucky and get a Bangkok car that happens to be in the area dropping off someone who just came from Bangkok.
