I went to the Carl's Jr at Central Festival today, and for the second time in two weeks they did not the big multi-ply American style napkins in their big napkin holders on the tables like usual.  When my food came and I had to ask for napkins, I was given a couple of those very small Thai style toilet tissue type things, although they were slightly embossed.  I ended up sending a message on their That FB page tonight, buy i doubt that will do any good, but I felt better for sending it (and posting this here ;) ) Am I the only one that's a messy eater?

I went there once. The food was ok but I have low expectations of americana food in thailand.

One one occasion I was told they had run out of burgers, except chicken and more would arrive in a few hours.

That's what I was thinking.  But they seem to run out of stuff way too often.  I have been wondering if it is their Thailand management or their supply chain that is the issue.

Last time i went to central festival it wasnt where it usually was, an ice cream place was there instead so i thought it had closed.Its obviously just moved to another area in the mall,where is it please.

Are you sure? I was in Pattaya for a week last month. Every night, i was drunk and having a good time. I remember I had one meal in Carl's jr and it was in the exact same spot in Central Festival!

I think so,if i remember rightly it was at the beach road side of central with veiws of the sea,hows your description of it,i like the burgers from there,thats why i went looking for it!

I might be wrong because I was drunk every night! It is on 3nd floor beach rood side with outdoor sitting. I will be back in 6 weeks. I will go there to have a look.

Well honestly this is one thing about Thailand I am not a fan of.  The little toilet paper weight napkin dispensers that are everywhere.  I mean I usually end up going through like twenty of the damn things....

It's a good thing their CEO will be America's new Secretary of Labor in another couple of months...  All Americans will receive these little napkins instead of paychecks.

I tried the same branch in Central-Festival last month, never been to Carl-Junior's before but wanted to give it a go, they'd run-out of Coke-Zero (gave a tin of Coke-Light instead), and I was under-whelmed by the burger & the fries  ...  too greasy & unpleasant sauce.

 

I'll stick with Burger-King in future  ...  they get it right IMO. The salad on the burger always seems fresher than McD's ?
