I have had a problem with my throat for a while. I am not satisfied with my filipino Doctor. I am currently in Pattaya and about to book my return flight to Philippines, but wish to see a doctor before I leave. Can somene recommend an ear nose and throat doctor? The doctor must be competent and speak great english.

I left the PI because of the lack of good medical professionals.  After 9+ years I had enough of the idiot PI doctors so I'm living here with my Filipina.

Just took the boss to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital to see 3 different Doctors.  I was happy at how well everyone performed and recommend the place. It is not my first time using that hospital and it is another place for you to check out.

good luck

If it was me I would not hesitate to make the drive to Bangkok and attend Bumrungrad International Hospital.  It has a reputation of being one of the best hospitals in the world.

For my health insurance to get any treatment covered, I first have to visit a GP and get a letter saying "I confirm that this guy has problem xyz, and I recommend he goes to see a specialist"

Now that Dr Oliver has moved to Tepprasit/Jomtien, it is a bit of a pain to get to

Anyone know of a foreigner-friendly general practitioner in central pattaya?
