Any updates on the Avani Hotel?

I stayed here a few times when it was the Marriott hotel, has anyone stayed here since it changed to the Avani? Just wondering if it's more or less the same, or whether there are any noticeable differences, good or bad?

Stayed over a week in November. the rooms are nice. I had a view of the Ocean. The breakfast was amazing. Anything you could want, all fresh. Eggs made to order. The pool was quiet and relaxing, lots of shade around. Although the prices at the bar were quite steep. I think I paid almost $12 for two little beers. The hotel is girl friendly, but the girl must submit her ID and pick it up when she leaves. I would stay again and would also recommend to others.
