lol surely they should raid his house as he walks through the door.. or do you think he paid to get away?

English man wanted in major international drugs supply case.

A press conference now from Banglamung Police Station organized by Police Major General Anan, the Chief of Chonburi Provincial Police who was joined by Khun Prachar, the Governor of Chonburi Province who is also involved in this serious drugs supply case. The General announced the arrest of Khun Sonoi aged 22 from Buri Rum Province. Based on information received, a covert operation was organized whereby a Police Officer posed as a potential customer and went to house number 22/283 in Chockchai Garden Village in Soi Kow Noi. The house is known to be occupied by Mr. Paul Bernard McAteer from England and his girlfriend and information suggest the man is a major drugs dealer. A raid of the house followed the initial drugs transaction between the female suspect and the undercover operative and large amounts of narcotics were seized, including 425 Yabba Tablets, 700 Valium Tablets, 4 Kilos of Marijuana along with items used to package the drugs. This case is also believed to involve customers from Abroad and it is known that Marijuana has been sent through Fedex from the address on a number of occasions. An arrest warrant for Mr. McAteer has now been issued and all ports, airports and borders have been alerted as the hunt for the prime suspect in this case begins.

No shit! The penalties are less for murder than they are for drugs. Stupid fuck deserves what he gets anyway. Anyone foolish enough to involve themselves in the drug trade in Thailand is playing with fire.

See if people that had never been to Pattaya before watched the PCN they would not come. All it ever is is doom and gloom :Blah2:

Well kind of. I've done quite a bit of overland traveling in S.E. Asia and was in Pattaya a few years back when some Russians robbed a bank and then got caught when they tried to rent a boat to get away to Cambodia, stupid fuckers. That's when I thought about my traveling experiences and figured how I would have done it differently. Honestly it wouldn't be hard to stay under the radar.

Stupid fuckers should have rented the boat long term well in advance of the action.

Rumor was that they didn't have the money to rent the boat before the robbery.

That figures. The surest way to get caught after committing a crime is to alter your normal pattern or do things you wouldn't normally do. To commit a complicated crime you have to first prepare properly and that means you are likely going to need to spend money to set it up properly including setting up your alibi. Many crimes where people are caught quickly tend to be ill thought out acts frequently done with little or no forethought.

Back on topic not a happy songkran for my fellow countryman this year. Capture a foregone conclusion we think.

this, I guess is what old farts think about.

What ever happened to being "cool" The problem with dealing drugs is that bigger you get the more exposure you have. Sooner or later one of your druggie coustomers is going to rat on you to save his own ass. He must not have paid off the right people. This all seems funny to me considering all the worlds mafia's have an office in Thailand. Any of you guyz been up to the Golden Triangle?
