Albuterol Sulfate Inhalor- Can I buy one in Pattata?

Does anyone does one and, if so, where can I buy one? Mine has less in it than I thought it did when I left home. Might be a shitty situation if I can't find a backup.

Thanks.

I've seen them all over and I think they were only 150 baht, if you pay for them at home it would be worth filling your suitcase with them.

Albuterol is Salbutamol........Ventolin can be purchased anywhere. So don't worry.

Recently 'Thunderstorm Asthma' struck unexpectedly in Oz and lives were lost.

Lots of new inhalers popping up all the time.

I would recommend Brimica Genuair over ventolin or Seretide.

Your GP can advise you on this.

To avoid fakes use a hospital pharmacy even if it costs $2 more.

Thank for the information. My boss (wife) needs it once in a blue moon. The cheapest U.S. price is $56.00 or 1,970Bhat.

Some people have trouble with Seretide, it can blister the gums, even if you wash your mouth out afterwards.

Seretide is both a bronchodilator and a preventer(topically acting steroid).

There is a move away from the steroidal preventers.

The newer bronchodilators are plentiful and are mainly sustained action bronchodilators

which don't contain steroids.

These don't require the use of a spacer also.

Seretide and Ventolin are better used with a spacer.

Inhalants will tend to irritate the palate and throat, so rinsing after use is recommended.

(Ventolin is less irritant).

I used to rinse and clean my mouth with toothpaste etc but it still caught up with me so I stuck with the ventolin.

Easy way around it......rather than rinse, eat something.

DATY would be perfect on a 'safe' candidate (rubber dam would make it worse).
