Birth registration

Hi we have our first child due in may,my girlfriend has been told the registration of  birth certificate is done in Thai and i need my name translatting into Thai.Anybody know if this is true or not, i thought it would be as my passport.

I had a little girl in Thailand and had to have my name translated in Thai. You'll find any important documents you make always have to be translated in Thai.
