It's pretty serious when you puke that soon after eating something.   You should go to a doctor or the hospital, especially if you puke again after drinking water or another liquid.  .......

I am not a person with a sensitive stomach and I have only gotten that sick once in my life and that was very recently.

I ate a fish sandwich at a formerly very popular place on this board that has gone to shit. 3 hours later my stomach was feeling queezy. I spent most of the night heaving in the bathroom and for several hours could not keep water down. My GF wanted to take me to the hospital, but the symptoms began to subside as morning approached. My body did clear whatever caused it out in quite a hurry.

A certain formerly popular place is on my never again list to say the least.

Sawasdee hotel breakfast buffet in soi buakhao (not sure if I got the name right) 3rd spot on this worst of the worst list

Yes. I stayed there when I first got to Pattaya, until my retirement visa went through. At first I thought the food here in Pattaya was terrible. Then I realized it was just the breakfast buffet there. I don’t miss that place at all.

Any advice on how you go about getting more fiber in your diet over there?  Thanks

You've gotten some good suggestions for keeping fiber in your diet while in Thailand.  Another possibility is a fiber supplement like Metamucil in powdered or tablet form or a couple of tablespoons of a natural supplement like chia seeds, flaxseed or wheat brain sprinkled on yoghurt, oatmeal or even  Thai food.

Mangoes has a high fiber content.  Loaded with vitamins too, it is a superfood.

A mango a day keeps the MD away.

I have noodle soup which comes with veg but i add loads also. I also ask them to add vegetables with dishes. Porridge and Muesli also widely available. Chillies help too

Good idea.  Vegetables common in Thai cuisine (cabbage, kale, carrots, morning glory, etc) have plenty of fiber.  Lentils, broccoli and beans, which are also used in some Thai dishes, are even better.   Green peas are high in fiber.  If eating Western food and you have a baked potato option, take it rather than French fries.

Most rice in Thailand is refined, so it doesn't have much fiber.  But if you eat brown rice (available in some restaurants), it has a lot of fiber. Watermelon and pineapple have moderate amounts of fiber, but are good for the digestive system because the high water content help to keep the bowels moving. Bananas also have moderate fiber.

No, but I don't buy fiber supplements in Pattaya.  I get a big jar when I'm back in the U.S.

Seems this thread turned into WebMD before it faded away. This thread did take Apex off my list of possible places to eat,  too many good restaurants to try to waste a meal there.
