Any way to transfer Line account to new SIM?

I registered for Line on my last trip using a tourist SIM from DTAC and found it really useful. But the SIM has expired and I'll get a new one (with new number) when I arrive on my next trip.

Is there any way to maintain the same Line account, that is transfer my account to a new phone number? Or must I simply start a new Line account and build up contacts from fresh?

Did you register your email and create a password ? If so,you simply use that info to log into Line on your new phone.

If you're using the same phone it doesn't matter what sim you've got in your phone. Line is an app it's nothing to do with your sim. Your line 'ID' will remain the same regardless of what sim you use.

 

I'm in England now with my English SIM card and my line is still the same as when I had a Thai sim on my phone.

Oh..Sorry..I mis-read your post...

As wez says..it doesn't matter if you're using the same phone and only changing the SIM...but if you haven't done so already,make sure to register an email with Line,and then you can transfer the account between devices when the time comes.

I use same line for English phone aswell as Thai phone just got to sign in and they send u a code but can only use account on 1 phone at a time
