How to speed up ipad 2

Hi,

 

Getting 50 mbps wifi speed on i phone 6s , but only 24 mbps on ipad 2

 

Is there a way of speeding up ipad 2

I read about this on another forum there was 2 solutions..

 

One guy simply switched off the wireless network, then reconnected and another disabled the WMM (QOS).

It probably has to do with the Wifi specs supported. A quick look (as I do not use Apple product) shows that the 6s can use 802.11ac while the iPad 2 can only use up to 802.11n. The former is quicker and perhaps the reason for what you see. With mobile devices there is nothing you can do other than buying a new one. You may get quicker speeds if you find a spot with a stronger signal as 802.11n support speeds of up to 100Mbps

I pad 2 has a history of many problems look them up on the internet.
