May Hotel

Anyone have any idea when the above will be opening or anyone who's stayed in The March hotel lately have any updates/photos of how construction is progressing?

 

Am a big fan of The March hotel, April and August Suites so sill definitely be staying here when it opens with hopefully soft rates for the first few months.

Apologies for bringing this up again but - doe anyone have ANY information at all about this place?

It looked finished to me at Christmas but still there's no sign of it being open and available anywhere on line. I spoke to someone I met on my last trip over Xmas and NY who just happened to be a regular in the sister March hotel and he seemed to think it was opening during his stay there in early January 2018 but evidently not.

There's been a sign up on Pattaya Klang giving directions to it (and The March Hotel) for at least two years and construction has lasted about two and a half years but at this stage it almost looks like a phantom project.

I've stayed in and am a fan of the 3 other hotels in the group as so many mongers are so I doubt they'd have any problem filling it - I certainly would give it a try - so it just appears peculiar that its taking so long........

I got a Trip in May coming up...maybe May hotel too

Where is it located and I'll take a look the next time I'm in the area. I know where August, March and April are located.

Bonjour je suis aussi très intéressé par votre discussion car j'ai réservé cet hôtel pour le mois de mars j'espère que ce n'est pas en construction  et j'ai déjà réglé mon séjour sur Agoda je ne serais pas embauché pour finir les peintures de ma chambre votre information serait utile si je dois annuler

It is literally right behind the March hotel.

Walked by today and it's partially opened.  The lower 2 floors are open and was told that it would be totally finished in a few more months.  Was told that the daily rate is1400 baht with discounts if one stays longer.

Its right behind march basically the same hotel. 

Rooms are same size as much but with lower quality fittings.

it was not finished hence why they not advertised but they allow people to stay there. as two floors are finished.

I just stayed a couple of days at March, and took a look at a room in May hotel. It looked very nice, and to my eyes the fittings certainly didn't look to be of lower quality. In fact, I would have tried a room there, but was told the wifi was spotty.

As it turned out I had trouble with the wifi in my room at March (no signal, the first time that has been an issue in several stays there), as well having only scalding hot water in the shower (that has been an issue before). Perhaps room 303 is one to avoid there.

for sure cheaper material are used for the may room but it does not matter really ,maybe in 5 years.
