Anyone flown with them lately?

Thinking of booking with them but last time i did about 10 years ago i was delayed 24hrs hours in Bahrain and i said never again, but they're really cheap at the moment

I'm flying with them in December as they had a very cheap Biz fare.

 

Friend works in Bahrain so uses them in Economy regularly. Says they're not very good and there can be a lot of Malaysian pilgrims on the BKK flight (codeshare that connects to Saudi) but they've always been pretty much on time when he's flown them.

i flew with them in june and never had a problem.flying with them.again on xmas day.

I've Flown with Gulf Air least once a year every year since 2011 and never had any delays whatsoever. Always found them to be nothing less than world class.

Seen your post.Your flights £368 at the moment.The flight i was going to book has a 3 hour layover in Bahrain which im not happy about, the shorter stop flight leaving in the evening has gone already

Ive flown with them once before. If the price was right I would happily use them again.

If price is your main criteria then Gulf Air are ok, nothing fancy but not too much to criticize. They are not in the same class in my opinion as Emirates, Qatar or the Far East carriers such as Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines, but these carriers are nearly always more expensive.

Doesnt matter.Ive checked about 30 return dates all the same price

Now sure why you would do that to prove a point but its still £379 with Travel Trolley same as I paid. As for putting in different return dates very first one I changed it to became  £673.75  !!

Its always going to depend on which "class" of economy seat is left for return sectors

Was doing it for my own booking actually.

Had 4 trips to Bangkok in 2008 and 3 of them including Christmas and New Year was with Gulf Air.

Have no complaints using them at all, they were on time all flights and all shortest stop-overs.

At the right price would have no problem re-booking a flight with them again.

At the moment i am a member of the Etihad Airways fan club after i sorted out my problems with them.
