Help Needed - Thai Connection for Internet & Calls

Hello Everyone,

 

I need advise on getting a Thai connection. I am arriving next week for 9 days.

 

My requirement is around 1 - 2 gb of 3G/4G Data and need calling value of around 50 - 100 baht.

 

Should I buy 10 Day Thai tourist sim card from airport or should I buy sim card (from family mart or tukcom) and get any pack activated from mobile operator store in Pattaya?

 

Also, if you suggest the second option could you please tell me the details of pack if possible.

Dtac happy tourist sim, get the 500 baht cap you will run out of data the day you depart but can use what money you have left on phone to buy another block of data to use in transit to airport, will give you enough for the calling value you want

I'd get fixed up at the airport. With the requirement to register sims now a lot of 7-11's can't be bothered.

Get a True Sim at Airport for 90 Baht (comes with I think 30 Baht credit) go on True website choose your package and enter short code into phone. Reboot and you're up and running. My lads iphone6 is on 4g my Chinese phone only 3g (albeit it is 4g enabled)

i bought the True Sim from airport for 450 Baht for 10 Days with 2.5Gb and 100 Baht calling credit. 

 

5 min setup and worked flawless for my stay.
