I paid 1500 baht from suvhi , from patts to bkk was 1300 she has a new car and electronic tag so doesnt slow down through tolls

She took me from Suk Soi 12 to Pattaya a few months back. Cute, nice car though she did lose her way in Bangkok a bit. 1500 all in, pretty good...

I have used her for the Airport to Pattaya run and back. Very efficient and safe driver. I have also used her for trips in the Pattaya area.. Very safe driver in traffic. Uses a petrol driven car so no long waits for filling up with liquid gas. She charges a bit more than some because of the extra cost of the petrol (gasoline). Speaks good English.

 

Pattaya to Airport: 1300 Bat\ht. Airport to Pattaya: 1500 baht.

 

She just arrived back in Pattaya yesterday after taking a customer from the Airport. Here she is.

I couldnt give a flying fuck as to how pretty a taxi driver is. The acid test is when you can see a crash coming and the woman is oblivious to it and how to get out of a under/oversteer etc. I had a woman on Mr T just the once and watched her all the way. Utterly clueless more interested in the mirror on herself

Normally only to Pattaya but can always ask . Distance is about double and the road likely not so good. And unlike Pattaya  not likely to get a customer to go back to Bangkok..

Kind and professional. Provides bottled water and guided through rest areas for food

The woman-owned taxi services here are expanding and appear to have found a poorly served market (suicide monkey street and 'brokered' taxis driven by men) in which they are doing well.

I wonder if we might one day see women monopolizing Suvarnabhumi-Pattaya's ground transportation, just as women famously monopolize the golf industry here as caddies.

I like where it is going.

I'll add nong Lek to the list in the "TAXI/LIMO SERVICES – Women Owned, Operated, Recommended" thread when I next update it.

While I started it to refer safe drivers for forum members, I guess it is also useful for women passengers to whom the public taxi and brokered taxi suicide monkeys pose an added threat .. I've sent my adult daughters on upcountry trips with two of the women drivers on the list .. with absolute confidence .. your wife might feel equally safe.

 

With 6 woman drivers listed in the thread right now, I will update the thread and add another two women drivers recommended by the forum membership.

 

These chicks are apparently finding a market for their services.

Here she is with her Honda HRV after coming down from Bangkok with a customer. She usually pops in to see me when she comes to Pattaya.
