Pain in Groin and Left Testicle

I have booked an appointment with the doctor but in the meantime I need to share this with someone. SO I am posting it here. If anyone has any idea or has faced it himself then please give some suggestion. So I have been experiencing slight pain in my left testicle and groin today. Initially it was mostly just groin but now it is also in the testicle and is also causing a burning sensation. Upon googling I find that it can be serious and might also be the result of an STD, must tell that I had sex with a working girl this weekend even though I had protection all the time. I am really freaked out right now. Does someone have any advice or suggestions? I am going to see the doctor tomorrow, its midnight in my country. Thanks !!

If you had sex recently, it is unlikely that a STD would be showing up this early. If you're booking the doctor's appointment in Pattaya, hopefully you are using the Bangkok Hospital.

Assuming you did not do bbbj ..chances are it's ur mind playing games. No need to get freaked out. A doc should sort u out easy. None of the symptoms u describe seem to resemble the incurable STDs.

Hey thanks for the reply, yes I found it a while ago, the symptoms are not so quick. It doesn't look like an STD then but its said online that this should not be taken lightly so I have booked an appointment, I am not in Pattaya however . Thanks a lot for the reply!!

No mate I didn't do bbbj but did lots of DATY. The thing is real, the pain and burning is there though it has reduced from the time I posted it. I will see the doctor in the morning. Thanks a lot for the reply and suggestion !!

Probably an infection if you have a bad pain. Dont worry, one week anthibiotics and it will be ok.

Oh I see. I must say that I had a little pain in my balls two about 2 weeks earlier but it went away within a day so I didn't pay attention. Also does this have anything to do with having a cold? Because both times I had cold. Right now I am also having a mild cold and this pain came back. Lastly is hernia serious?

It might be chlamydia.  I've seen symptoms of people that complain of the pain you're describing, and then it moves to the testicular region.  It's good you're going to see a doctor, they can tell for sure.   Hope you feel better.

Thanks for the input dude. I too saw that the symptoms are like chlamydia but again I saw that in case of chlamydia it takes 1-3 weeks to show the symptoms. Its been only 2-3 days in my case. Anyways the doctor will tell what is the problem. Thanks a lot for the kind words !!

Apparently you can catch Hep A, B, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and have no symptoms for a while, then symptoms get more serious eventually, thats why getting tested regularly is a good idea.

 

I'm guessing the Hernia boys are right.

I occasionally get a burning sensation at the top of my thigh just adjacent to  the groin. Usually goes away after an hour or so. No idea  what it is.

So I went to the doc and I had to undergo some tests but everything was normal. Doctor said it might be prostasis and gave me some medicines.

I went through a X-Ray test, Ultrasound and urine test, which all turned out to be normal. He also inspected my genitals, lol. Based on all this he was sure it is a harmless condition. Also my issue is more related to the groin and less to the testicles. Is there a specific test for cancer? I think cancer is a bit too far.

Usually the doctor does a feel test for lumps or growths on the testicle, if he confirms that , there and then, he will send you to a urologist to operate and remove it, then a cancer specialist for treatment. If he's not certain maybe a blood test.

 

There are 16 different types of testicular cancer.

 

 

But as you say you've been to the doctor and he has dismissed this scenario, so all good.

This doc didn't even do an ultrasound of my genitals, which I think he should have done, the ultrasound was of the kidneys which were normal. Also his medicines are not working. I am still having that pain. I am going to my hometown today and will consult a doc that I know who is renowned in this field. Want to fix it asap so that I can get back to some action. I just had one of the best sex of my life this weekend but have forgotten everything due to this problem.

The ultra your kidneys was a correct examination of the symptoms (kidney stones) not sure what else exam you have taken but it could be a long time finding the problem.

I have had the same symptoms for a while I finally manned up and went to the doctors a few months ago they did an ultra sound and yep, it's a hernia left side (LARGE INGUINAL HERNIA) was written on the paperwork

 

now I get to wait a 6 months and then have surgery on it I think the surgeon said it was key hole surgery and if that doesnt fix it she cuts into the side of my groin

 

I thought it was STD for sure but nope

 

definitely make sure you get an ultrasound at a place that knows what they are doing,

 

hardest thing was having an old indian doctor touch my balls and feel for the lump. best thing was i was refered to a surgeon who was a 45 yr old blonde english lass and she didnt even use gloves when she gave the bollocks a good feel up lol -- was first time a white chick has touched my groin in years 

 

bad news is waiting list for public hospital here is 365 days on average so says my letter but surgeon reckons around 6 mths prob
