Does anyone know where I can find a business centre or internet cafe in Pattaya to print off web check in bag tags?

Posted

I just went into the closest Kodak shop to VT7 to print my Boarding Pass.

Don't know about tags?

Thanks, yeah I meant the boarding pass. I intend to get the bus from the terminal down that way to the airport. That sounds like a plan as we intend to eat at Frasers the night before leaving and it's close.

I took my iPad with me.

I think I had to email the pass to them? I remember using their computer so may have had to open my email on that.

(Sorry. Lousy memory :-)

Do you need to print it. I just did it on my phone and showed it to them last time.

Probably not, good idea, thanks.

as far as I am aware, a web check in is not much different than a confirmation, you still get your bags weighed etc.

I was given another Boarding Pass at the airport anyway.

Online check in and obtain your boarding pass at the airport.

If you are on Thai there is certainly no need to print the boarding pass.

I am going to the Philippines where immigration want to see the onward ticket. They got shitty last time when it took me 30 seconds to get ti on my phone. Just easier to print it for them.

My comment was about a boarding pass generated from an online check in and not confirmation of a booking.

Sure, but if printing one, may as well print both.

I understand it's a requirement, but I've never been asked to provide proof.

It's usually the airline who checks these requirements before you board the flight.

I just returned last week from Manila and no questions asked as I transited immigration. I haven't printed an itinerary or boarding pass in years.

Guess I'm old-fashioned :-)

I always like a hard copy of everything when I travel.

I have been asked for the ticket every time on arrival the last few years. It may have been something to do with my passport being full of Philippine visas. :(

I don't doubt you, it just hasn't been my experience over a half dozen trips in the past 2-4 years. I always travel on a RT itinerary, perhaps that's why.
