Anybody transferred thru DME on Singapore Airlines? Difficult?? KGB gonna follow me?! I don't believe I change planes from Houston onto Singapore? Depart plane and get back on? I would say yes for cleaning.

Have a look at the flight details

Is it the same flight number and aircraft type all the way IAH-DME-SIN? If so, it is a direct (though not nonstop) service and while you MIGHT have to disembark for cabin cleaning, you will not officially enter Russia, just remain in the transit lounge.
