Where to buy a quality camping/hunting knife?

Hello fellow forum warriors. I have a survival oriented camping trip coming up and i need a solid quality knife, none of that beach road tourist-bait crap. Is there a place in Pattaya where i can get a decent blade? Looking for one of these.

Just an FYI, the Big C store is open but the entire rest of the mall is closed and being renovated. To the OP, not sure where to find that kind of item. Maybe try the Big C extra on Pattaya Klang?

I have found this shop to be much more expensive when comparing like items to the disposal store on Third Road. It is on the beach side of Third Road between Central and North Pattaya Road.

Could you bea  little bit more specific? Its a long stretch of shops in the are you describe it. Do you know the name of the shop? A google link would be best.

Like i said in the original post, im looking for a shop in Pattaya. Im not from Sattahip, so i would not have a clue as to where "Market Sattahip, right up Sukhumvet road on the right side" is. Unless im missing something and this Market Sattahip is in Pattaya? If not, could you please be a bit more specific with the directions? Im grateful for responses, any info helps, but please drop a map link or at least a name of the street at the very least.

Sorry mate, I dont know the name of the shop. It is set back a little. If you are coming from Pattaya Klang and you get to Ninja BBQ, you have gone too far.

 

If you drive a little slower and keep an eye out on the beach side of 3rd Road, there is the usual disposal store type stuff outside of the shop. I have bought military style boots there that were much cheaper than the Secound Road Big C shop. They were pretty average boots, but I have bought several pairs of 5.11 trousers for work that I love. I am former military, and work in challenging conditions in Africa. The kit I used has to be tough and value for money for my satisfaction.

 

I think everything I have looked at in the Big C Disposal store is very overpriced. I have struggled to find anything  in Thailand that I have been happy with, but this shop is as good as it gets for me in Pattaya.

There is a big Army surplus shop just outside pattaya that is loaded with new and used Knives its on the left of Sukhumvit road it has two big fibreglass soldiers outside and there are a few small planes next to it in the yard next to that is a coffee shop its about 5 km past the foliating  market and has the lives you are looking for and more.
