Could've bought Lasse Schone from Ajax, Jens Toornstra from Feyenoord plus a really good defender with that money.

Yes I agree we could have bought some good players like you say but the club wouldn't spend it all they would pocket the cash and buy cheap like they do always when we sell players sold Ashley Williams not replaced him that's what type of club we are always been the same unfortunately

Who would have thought Paul Clement, with no experience in EPL and the relegation fight.  But anyone who thinks its always the players and thinks a manager isn't responsible for a team's success need only look to Clement and Conte:  Managers matter.

That doesn't mean you can't criticize a player(s) for dogging it, but ultimately the manager is to blame.

I think we may have had a chance of staying up with Guidolin as manager. Though it would have been a struggle.

The problem was the appointment of Bradley. He was clearly completely out of his depth and didn't have a clue what he was doing.

He wasn't willing to take any constructive criticism on board either and learn from it. He just accused people who made negative comments of being racist and not liking him because hecwas American.

Clement has done a good job organising the team. He's shored up the back by playing 3 defensive midfielders & has given certain players more confidence. Mawson now has the confidence he can play at this level and Llorente looks a different player. He never tried under Bradley.

Nathan Dyer ruptured his Achilles yesterday and will be out for the rest of the season.

Even more of a shame when he had just got back in to the match day squad after being largely ignored by the previous 2/3 managers.

So far Clement has done a great job, long may it continue.

It's a shame that we had 11 wasted games when Bob Bradley was in charge he was totally clueless

and out of his depth, there can not have ever been a less able manager ever appointed to a EPL team.

The only reason he was appointed was because the yank owners wanted a yank in charge despite

him being no more than a drill sergeant. If we stay up having had him for virtually a 1/3 of the season it will be a miracle.

Next 4 games likely to decide our season.

Burnley (H)

Hull (A)

Bournemouth (A)

Middlesbrough (H)

More than 8 points and we should be safe.

Fewer than 5 points and we're likely to struggle.

Crucial 3 points today - especially given the moronic penalty decision by yet another dreadful referee.

Swans started very well but were put off their stride by the decision.

Really fighting performance in the last 20 minutes though.

I think the last time Anthony Taylor reffed the Swans he gave Liverpool a BS penalty in their 1-0 win.Yesterdays

decision to give Burnley a penalty when everyone could see it was a Burnley handball needs to be looked into.

It could have cost us 2 points and eventually sent us down.

On a positive note Martin Olsson looks a good buy at left back, not just the two goals he's scored but his

defending is far better than Neil Taylors.

I do not think those figures include the sale of Williams and Ayew or the buying of around £20 million of players,so probably a lose of around £4 million, which is nothing considering the huge TV money if we stay up.

Not only did we lose to Hull (again) but 3 players were injured.

Unclear if Llorente & Olssen will be fit for Saturday but it looks as if Rangel will be out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.

Next 2 games crucial, but looks like a struggle between now and the end of the season.

On a brighter note, the U-23 have been crowned Champions of Division 2 of PL2.

Up to Div 1 next season.

A truly awful performance at Bournemouth after a pretty dire one at Hull.

Clement has, rightly, had praise for improving things - though that wasn't difficult after Bradley. However, the shape of the team is a problem. He insists on playing 3 defensive midfielders, though there is more flexibility for one or two to push forward in turn, which means Sigurdsson can't really play in his best position as a 'number 10' and there is only width on one side. Not helped today by only having one fit full back.

The next game at home to Middlesbrough is really a 'must win'.

I hope we go back to 2 midfielders with 2 wide players & Sigurdsson pushed up closer to Llorente.

Longer term, I'm still amazed we recently gave Fernandez a new contract. He's not good enough. We need to buy 2 central defenders, a right back and a couple of strikers. We can offload Amat, Ki, Borja and one or two others. A new goalkeeper wouldn't go amiss either.

Most Swans fans are now resigned to relegation.

Bottom line is we don't have the squad for the Premier League. This goes back at least 3 years as the Directors were mainly concerned with getting a buyer for the club so they could line their own pockets.

Bradley was calamitous but Clement is certainly not as good as Laudrup or Monk.

I don't see us coming back up in a hurry.

Get a win and mindsets change,i`ve been guilty of writing my team off in seasons past myself,i know wins are harder to come by in the prem, but you`re hardly adrift, and im sure theres more twists and turns yet, there always is at this time of the season!

I still cling to the forlone hope we`ll catch Brighton or Newcastle at the top of the championship, the realist in me says no,but while that chance is still there mathematically or otherwise you have to keep battling......and hoping!
