Decent hotel for around 1000b?

Hi guys.

 

I'll be returning to Pattaya soon for a couple of weeks and would like some good recommendations for a hotel.

I normally stay at some lower priced guest houses which is normally fine with me but for this trip I wanted something a bit better for about 1000b (£20).

 

I have checked on Agoda and other similar sites and can see there is a large variety which is great but I'm well aware from other trips that the pics, reviews and descriptions of amenities can sometimes be misleading.

 

I was hoping to find somewhere which had a nice room, with a comfortable bed possibly a pool, balcony with a view, aircon, decent wifi, refrigerator,in room safe,  close to all the action and obviously girl friendly.

 

I think what I am trying to ask is where do my fellow Pattaya addicts stay in this price range? and where would you recommend

H boutique hotel soi honney now about 900 baht real bargain only downside no pool but can use the pool of sister 247 hotel same same location,not sure how much they charge

If you don't mind being up on Soi 2 then Sabai Lodge.

If you are going low season a delux pool view room with balcony at tht Sabai Wing is 1188baht,

 

It's been my hotel of choice for the past few years.

 

The room has everything you are asking about if you don't mind taking a baht bus to places not in walking distance.

there are a lot of options on soi 13 and the nearby sois --baywalk residence is currently offering rooms for about $33 on Agoda

Nature view on buakhao,should come in at less than 1000b as will it`s sister j&p court on lengkee,but  i am told Nature view is the better.

 

Opey de place also on Lengkee should be mentioned as well.

Out of all of those I would take Nature View every time...

I stayed a week in Nature View in April and had no complaints ..Clean,nice pool at the back and the staff are brilliant too.

IMO, with these 1000 baht hotels, you really need to be on the ground looking.. I would never pay in advance. There are many around Soi Buakhao.. Even around Soi Honey. I like to walk around in the afternoon. Every time I pass a decent looking hotel, I'll go inside and ask the prices (if anything, it gets you out of the heat!) .

Yes Natureview it's better but the male receptionists in that Damn hotel are a bunch of rude ass fuckers! Especially that old ass bastard that wears glasses that work night shifts. This was like two years ago though.

I enjoyed the stay at AA Ville hotel last Xmas for a week , was disappointed not to stay a further 4 weeks because I already booked the LK Mansion at Soi Buakhao . AA Ville hotel is based at Soi 14 on third rd , ten mins walk to Soi Buakhao .

Da Maxes on Soi 13/2 is not bad central and cheap around the 1,000 baht mark. Showers are small thou no boom boom in there

Just booked centric sea for 1000 Not a hotel but good location condo in my opinion

I had a week at the `In Town Holiday Hotel`,  Soi Honey, ...Amazing at 650 Bht, Lovely pool on the roof, Lift to all floors ..

It's swings and roundabouts, Sabai Lodge was cheaper via the hotel website,nikom court was cheaper at the hotel,sky blue Jomtein was cheaper via Agoda,not much help is it really.
