£49 return flights to Thailand

Just read online that people have quit their jobs and queued for 33 hours to get the tickets for Thailand starting at 49 pounds

Anyone from PA who's been lucky to get one . here is the link to the post

The sort of people who quit their jobs to go on holiday are probably only doing it to tide them over anyway,and young too.Cant imagine anyone with mortgages and stuff to pay doing it.

agree with you , i wouldn't ever dream of doing this just for plane tickets

kind of sad imo, that people would camp outside to save a few bucks. Let alone quit their jobs for a cheap vacation.

Hope they realise its £49 plus taxes !!  If you look very carefully you'll see the "star" after the return word in photograph

Full price will be as the article correctly says at the end at £299 which judging by recent fares is around £30 off the lowest currently available from uk

It wasn't really that great a deal.

 

Only Thursday departures for a 3 week period in May iirc.
