Just finished two weeks at the Garden Guesthouse. Nice enough room but really noisy with that stupid ladyboy bar across the street and their own bar downstairs. 

 

Anyhow, they wouldn't let me bring 2 girls to the room. Never got a good explanation as to why. Is this an issue with somewhere like LK Renaissance where I am thinking of staying next trip. 

 

I don't make a habit of the 2 girls thing but I just want the option if I want to.

Security guard wants small tip next time.

I usually stay at some of the less upmarket places for that reason, I've only had a problem once in 12 years.

 

 

I haven't stayed at any of the LK joints so i can't answer that one.

rent a condo and you will have no problems at all

we stayed in a hotel near walking street and they strictly forbid lady boys from going to the rooms,

however they did not take girls id when girls went to the rooms,

 

i can only assume your hotel wanted an extra fee for more than 2 guests.

stayed last year at lk renaisance was ok

+1 for massage parlor downstairs

internet was good

small pool 

joiner fee for second girl 500 baht

all staff were great

no ladyboy issues

I had a problem with that too. My problem is that I've never been with 2 before!! Grrr

There's a thread here somewhere that keeps a list of hotels that charge extra for (or simply forbid) bringing a 2nd girl back to the room.

Didnt have a problem taking 3 back to China Garden...only problem the bed was a bit small

No problem at D Apartments last night Even though one of them didn't have her ID card. The night guy let her in but older lady on reception gave her bit of lecture when they left in the morning.
