Well I'm gutted at these latest prices having already booked for Oct/Nov trip

EVA AIRWAYS NOW £420 with Travel Trolley

 

BRITISH AIR   NOW £459  with Omega

 

THAI AIRWAYS NOW £470 with Travel Trolley

 

Not seen a price of £420 for some years

 

Get in there guys cracking prices for non-stop,

Agree with prices coming down, managed to book Thai Airways for £466 3 weeks ago, just hope now the £ pound starts to get stronger!

Not sure how you can say that. Sterling is actually strongest against the Greenback then it has this last 2 weeks currently.

Nobody can say whether for certain Sterling will rise and fall. Uncertainty will make it waver in the meantime but should we get an "out" vote watch Sterling rise after

In the simplest of terms, instability in any country usually leads to a weakening of the currency. It is possible that large institutions will not want to invest immediately in UK and may even withdraw funding and shift HQ's elsewhere. An exit would leave us having to renegociate current trade deals that are in place. We import more than we export and a lower pound would in theory help exporters but bad for expats and holidaymakers.

Well I'm still chatty with by my Ex Barclay Forex colleagues from many many years ago and they are all certain that an out vote will ensure further strength in Sterling against the Greenback. We can only sit back and see should that out vote happens

The prices are getting lower and lower great,i just checked on skyscanner,booking with Traveltrolley  flying out from Birmingham 27th November return 18th or 20th December with only a short stopover,flying with Qatar only £357 .I wanted to return 19th December but the stopover on return was about 7+ hours which I did not fancy.Has anyone on Forum booked with Traveltrolley and are they ok to book with ?, would appreciate any feed back. Qatar website was for about £25 more .

Yep Travel Trolley are absolutely fine. I have had multiple tickets and I mean multiple off them. First time ever I had a problem with ticket on Oman last month (thread in this section)......Oman had overbooked by over 40 tickets and I had been bumped off return sectors. (tried checking in 24 hours in advance)

Email to TT telling them to put a rocket up Omans arses hour later call to say I'm on the flight confirmed no problem.

 

I wasn't aware that Travel Trolley are also Southall Travel as Socrates pointed out couple weeks ago.  In addition I was entitled (on totally separate issue) to a £73 refund on a childs ticket..... One call to TT sorted it 3 days later credited to my account.  Top Guys no messing

make the most of it Oil prices are starting rise again which in turn will see airfares raising again.  

Thanks for reply Harvey707,i have booked with Southall Travel a couple of times before and not had any problems so if TravelTrolley are part of Southhall Travel great ,i might even try to give South Travel a call and see if they can give even lower price .No harm in trying.I have always travelled with Emirates so will make a change to travel with Qatar, have only read good things about them so should be good to have a change.

I'm not 100% sure but I think TT may be the Internet only arm of the Business whereas Southall Travel I believe have a High St Office (may be wrong on that)

I think you might be right,i be surprised if I got better deal then which I mentioned.I will give southall a call just to check.

Snap that up Pronto if that indeed is non stop. You're into the Kids holidays out of the UK. Non stop this late and that date I would have expected £1k by now

I think so too - almost inevitable that the £ will fall after an out-vote. The currency markets do not like uncertainty or change. Put the 2 together and you have a worst case scenario.

Southall travel to have a office in southall London , have used them and travel trolley any times with no problems

I agree, would not describe it just as school holidays but backpacker season as many uni students are free for the summer break and others graduated taking a gap year. Although i usually pay premium to fly direct usually with Thai next trip 11 May £466, I must admit in mid August £335 with Oman on Skyscanner for a 1.5 hour stopover in DOH each way is inviting.

Sterling has been rising against the Greenback last couple weeks up 5/6 Cents. As such Sterling/Baht increased accordingly just had quick look and Interbank 51.26 so Yellow TT's should be around 51.05 on the ground

, I must admit in mid August £335 with Oman on Skyscanner for a 1.5 hour stopover in DOH each way is inviting. 

 

Lot of deals on Oman currently as they have gone double daily from Heathrow. Sure you didnt mean Qatar as Muscat Seeb is Oman not Doha

Am hoping by next time on Oman they will have finally finished the new Terminal avoiding busing to aircraft on the apron

£418 Non-stop with Eva not seen it that low for years.
