PCNL (endoscopic removal of kidney stones) - Any experiences in LOS?

Anyone ever have one here? Any idea of the cost other than at BPH - they quoted me approx. 100,000.

If you're Canadian you can get this or lithotripsy for free so why don't you?

 

Send an e-mail or SMS to Colin at Phyathai Hospital in Sriracha (look it up - he's the manager of expat services) and ask him. He'll set it up.

 

With a urologist first and then treatment. Not expensive for a proper consult. Excellent hospital.

I had the lithotripsy done about two months ago.... painless and expensive even with insurance.... but was good to go in two days

Is lithotripsy not an option in your case? Always choose the less invasive method first, if it will work. 

 

A well-trained urologist in LOS should be more than competent to perform either procedure, but why take the chance of a bad outcome in LOS if you can get the procedure done for free in Canada? Good luck
