Gulf air

Anyone use Gulf air lhr to bkk via Bahrain? If so, any good?

Have used them from Bahrain to BKK. Service is mediocre compared to Emirates or Qatar; flights tend to be less full so better chance of an empty seat next to you. Bahrain airport is small but does 2 bars, including a decent sized Irish pub.

Reported here not long ago that when I flew them in 2002 they had the smallest seats possible in economy and I was obliged after take off on all 4 sectors to stand at the back

Ive flown with them business class. The seats are okay. food was tasty, the service was a little slow at times. Overall if they came up with the right price I would use them again
