Guys whats the Crack with Cambodians In Thailand Re Visas

My girl originates from PP. She like us requires Tourist Visas. Now shes been on them since she came into the Country in August 2014 where I met her on her 2nd day here

The last time she renewed a few days before I arrived this trip the Embassy in PP questioned her why so many (possibly rightly so) and consecutive at that.

Now this one expires on 19th March and shes genuinely concerned she might not get back in,

 

Any thoughts  ??  By the book it would appear that's shes "working" here. Shes not per se shes with me but I can see their point of view....??

In the same situation . My girl had 4 back to back tourist visas and i asked the visa office if there 

would be a problem making a fifth . He told me there would be no problem . Funny enough her

visa came through without problems but i had to go there to be questioned .  

 

Got a direct phone line with the consular the moment i came in and i explained my situation . Very

friendly guy that speaks perfect English . After i explained the situation he was very willing to cooperate . 

Even was willing to give me a NON-O but as i didn't had enough money on my account in Thailand 

that time he told me to come back next time and he would take care of it . 

 

Think if you're honest with them and explain the situation (make sure you have all the paperwork to 

back up your story) the consular is willing to reason with you about future visas for you and your lady .

A girl I keep in touch with frequently returns home, and I've always suspected it was a visa run, just wasn't 100% sure. And her English isn't the greatest for me to ask her over a Line call.

Might ask her next time I'm in town.

My Girl cant read Thai. When I very first knew her I had no idea she was Cambodian (why would you) she had virtually no English like most Thais when they first came here....she speaks to about 80-90% Thai but clearly gets lost on occasions talking to Thais

My GF is from Laos and just does a border run every 30 days. She's been doing it for years without issue, despite occasional "crackdowns" which mean going to the Laos border instead of Cambodia.

Interesting ... border run indicates land border or does she go by plane and come back 1 or 2 days later ?

The van leaves at 5.45am and is back by 2pm. Costs 1,000 baht. All her family do it.

 

The information posted must be out if date or just wrong. Laotians have always had 30 days visa exempt, if they have a passport.

Anyway shes got her ticket back to Cambo this morning for 19th so if she aint turned up by 22nd or so I know the shits hit the fan !!

Now what on earth am I going to do on my own for 3 days................
