Any recommendations for golf in Phuket? A friend told me Red Mountain is a great course. Anyone played it?

Not myself but my brother did a few years ago. Raved about the course but a bit exxy. I think 6500 baht and upwards for golf + cart + caddy.

If you have a choice and love your golf, Pattaya is a far better option. IMHO one of the best courses around Pattaya is Laem Chabang and at 3750 all up reasonably priced.

Anyone know of a Web site for golf in Thailand? Something like teeoff.com or GolfNow.com?

The only one I know is the Pattaya Sports Club

You can arrange golf thru' them or use any of the golf bars they recommend

They publish monthly golf rates and golf schedules.

Red Mountain is superb. Good video below. Go to 4.45 to see the fantastic 17th par 3.....awesome!

I can also recommend Loch Palm.

I played Red Mountain, Loch Palm and Blue Canyon and all were good.  Red Mountain is pricey and has some extreme elevation changes.  The following website has a page for golf courses and you can book through them it seems.  I have not used them so cannot recommend at least you can see info about the courses.

www.hotels2thailand.com  then go to golf courses and the area of Thailand you are interested in visiting.  You might contact them directly and see if the rates are better than through this site.

Common sense is not very common.

Red Mountain is a great great golf experience , but expensive.

Played Laguna and Phuket Country club last November. Good tracks in good condition.

Blue Canyon is the best layout in my opinion , but havent played there for 4 years , so unsure of condition

I have been usung the booking service below with zero complaint fro many years now

Enjoy the golf , cheers
