My Thai missus, now 36, developed horrible BO under armpits about 3 years ago.

She has to scrub/hand wash all cloths that contact her armpits.

Any tips?

Agree it is diet related, assuming the issue is fairly recent. Have never met a Thai woman with BO...bad breath yes...often food and cigarette related.....stinky pussy...different topic.

If it really bothers you, go down to New Plaza and sit next to some of the shirtless dregs for a while...you will go home and lick her armpits...

I am not ting tong...my mother had me tested.

I had the problem start about a month ago and I have the same bad diet. I scrub underarms with anything I can find.    I read up on it and it is bacteria.  When I scrub my underarms and that doesn't kill the bacteria.  i mix either white vinegar or Hydrogen peroxide for a 20% mixture in a spray bottle.   I spray under my arms and wash in good before shower, then in shower I use an antibacterial soap.     Works.   I only use the mixture every few days and the soap daily.   Then you need a good antiperspirant which will stop it for a while, not deodorant.   Mixing both is good

BO is generated by Bacteria not the actual sweet. So anything like tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, natural anti bacterial stuff diluted in water and slowly increase strength till it kills the bacteria but doesn't harm the skin.

She might have to stop using Antiperspirant for a while as it is water proof, blogs the pores the skin may need time to sort it self out  and if she has increased this lately to stop the issue maybe contributing to the issue.

There are alternatives but staying away from chemical stuff for a while and washing with natural anti bacterial stuff about 3 times a day. will hopefully help..

part of my  problem was the Antiperspirant was getting on my clothes and because it is water proof the Armpits of my shirts wasn't getting washed properly , the detergent wouldn't sink in properly and clean them and so the problem just got worse and worse more  stronger antiperspirant.  thinking it was my pits when in actual fact it was the Shirts were not cleaning properly. Smelt ok from conditioner  in the morning but soon stank again.  So as much as you scrub you need to kill the bacteria there to as it will have been building up. now normal detergent probably has little effect now.  Dettol solution or something might help here but natural stuff should work just as well....

if you are in ireland also a health check is a good idea.. just incase.  Weight increase can contribute.

IF all else fails switch to a juice diet for a while and let the body reset  from fasting cleanse ....watch documentary "Super juice me "  for the right approach

Sounds like solutions for  bad smelling arm pits have been covered well in previous posts.  I use vinegar (white) in my running shoes, take em apart,  soak em in it for half hour or so, and let them dry out.  The smell that once was, is now gone. Like a new pair, no stinky feet. Forget all those powders and gimmicks.

Three years is a long time, I suggest she tries washing her armpits rather than scrubbing the clothes she wears.

On a serious put shower gel on neat under the arms and leave for five minutes before going to the shower.

Jump in chlorine treated swimming pool (her not you).

SEE A DOCTOR!!!

DONT THINK WE HAVE ANY HERE

See a doctor ???

Why ... ?

Do you think she may be dying?

Rotting from the arm pits out?

Are there any serious diseases that have bad underarm smell as a symptom?

I'm a blowfish!

I had a ex BF who had bad body odour under his arms.

Every morning for a week

Made sure his armpits were shaved first THEN used the alcohol liquid you buy from the pharmacy.here they call it isocol but could be under any name.

Rub the alcohol liquid under the arms and leave for 5 minutes then wash with anti bacterial soap such as Dettol soap, leave n a few minutes then wash.

Its important to rub under the arms with a rough cloth or washer to open the pores and clean them.,dont just use your hand to wash under your arms, use a scrubber.

After using the alcohol, and then washing with the dettol soap, now scrub with the sweet smeloing soap.

Do this a few times a day and you will be eventually cured.

The only soaps i use in Thailand are the anti bacterial ones THEN i use the sweet smelling soaps after i used the anti bacterial.
