Universe Gym

Am I right in thinking there is a Universe Gym in Pattaya on Sukhumvit Highway? If so, has anybody used it recently? What is it like and how much? Does it have free weights, machines and treadmills? how much is per day?

 

I'm only likely to be in Pattaya for a few days at the end of March and likely to be staying on Soi Buakow. I don't want to use Tony's, especially as last year they had stopped daily membership.

 

I know Sukhumvit is a bit of a hike from Buakow, but I'm thinking of using a gym a couple of times and am interested in giving it a try.

 

Any info would be appreciated.

Old stuff, but big and for me everything I needed was there. Has aircon, but still quite warm.

 

I think it was a 100b for one, but we paid 150 for 2.

 

Best value for money gym Ive found in Pattaya recently.

 

Oh and you can pay per visit again at Tonys sb.

Treadmills: yes
Aircon: yes

I used it during my last stay and will keep using it when I return. A decent gym with mixed clientele. 100 baht/day or 1000/month and discount for two persons.

Take songthaew from Central Road then walk 5 minutes or so to the gym.

I meant from Central Road, not Second Road, sorry. When you exit the songthaew at the end of Central road you can see Sukhumvit road. Go left until you see the gym. It's just after the Index mall.

Old location is about to be demolished.

 

They have moved closer to Pattaya Klang. Past the mosque on the left, coming frim Sukhumvit, behind a new shopping center.
