Hi.

If I want stay in Thailand 4 months.

I get a single 60 day Tourist Visa In the U.S.

After 60 days I apply for a 30 day extension at Jomtien.

(Q) Can I apply for another 30 extension at Jomtien?

Thanks.

TC.

@Ohyesuare.

Thanks for the quick reply.

After the 90 days, could I use one of the Visa agencies and do a quick out/in Visa run to get 30 day extension or would it be 15 days.

Thanks.

TC.

for the extension (after 30 days) do you need to bring anything with you to immigration? if so what?

passport, 1900 baht, anything else?

been living in asia for 3 years, crossed the 250 girl mark a few weeks ago www.nomadphilippines.com

If you're getting a tourist visa in the US and want more than a 90 day stay you could also just get a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa. You would still do the 30 day extension and need to cross the border at the 90 day mark and would get another 60 day entry stamp.

Or do the border run at the 60 day mark and save the 1900 baht extension fee. If you are going to have to make one border run either way then that might be the way to go.

Otherwise you would get a 30 visa exempt entry, not 15.

Re' quick In/Out border runs, read this  http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/289323-cambodia-visa-run/

Rules re' In/Out border runs seem to be tightening dramatically and the computer database increasingly used to pick up regulars.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out for those who see a METV as a way of long staying using border runs to eke 9 months out of them.

Re' TV 30 day extensions read this   http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/281200-getting-a-30-day-extension-on-a-tourist-visa-and-spend-3-hours/

Again, things are tightening for regular users.

Re' METVs, they are hard work - easier to go to Phnom Penh and get another SETV.
