Having avoided any type of smartphone for years, I am now firmly in the Apple camp.

 

In fact, when I eventually replace my current PC it will be with an iMac.

 

Microsoft have lost me as a result of first Win8 then Win10.

I use Apple everything at home for my computers, iMac, Macbook Pro, and a MiniMac for my home entertainment hub....but the iPhone (in my humble opinion) is a bag of shite. Way too restrictive.

 

I swapped from Apple to Samsung after the 4s because the screen on the 5 was a joke....i'm thinking of going HTC next though as they seem to be putting out some great phones atm.

I use iMessage too much.

 

Nearly everyone I'm in regular contact with uses iPhone which is why I bought one in the first place.

I don't adapt as well as I used to either (it will come to you :-) so sticking with what I now sort of understand is better for me.

 

I get on well with the iPhone 6. Actually big enough for my old, big, clumsy fingers to type.

I must admit the iPhone 6 is a good phone for basic use (making calls, texts etc). Much better camera than most of its rivals. I use my phone for a lot more techy stuff and the iPhone OS restricts it a lot....but yeah, they did pull it out the bag with the 6.

FYI apparently, according to a few tech forums this does brick your phone. I'm pretty sure no one on here is stupid enough to try it anyway....but thought i'd let you know.
