Low T solution?

likethaigirls

Recommended Posts

I went to Maximum Performance Answer (Dr. Tim, corner of Pattaya Klang & 3rd road) at the end of December, 2015.

I used Androgel and did *everything* else he said, including 2 months sobriety., 30/11/2015~ 31/1/2106

After 1 month, The result- 9,000 Baht poorer and a Testerone drop of about 25%, initially 464 ng/dL (as of 13/12/2015) to 369 ng/dL as of 31/1/2016.

I'm in Pattaya, might as well be at the South Pole.

I'd heard so much good about this place. It turned out to be useless, to me at least.

Does anyone know of a place in Pattaya with *guaranteed* results? I don't want to piss my money down the toilet, raise my faith, hope & optimism to have it crushed again.

Please note I said *guaranteed* results, no less.

Thank you

Until then, might as well get juiced. I am.

You can try testosterone injections and the usual performance enhancing pills

Check TRT on Google (Testosterone replacement therapy )

Be aware of downsides and side effects. And in the end, nobody can beat Father Time lol

I have heard good things about Dr Olivier in Pattaya,  I don't think there is much you can do naturally to significantly raise your test levels.

TRT might be the soloution..

Androgel and the like are useless . Your body get lazy and will stop producing testosterone on itself making the problem only bigger .

Dr Oliver is your best bet but not cheap and no warranties .

As far as I know, if you have low Testosterone, you can try some steroid that are being used by the bodybuilder. But, you have to consult first to the doctor as those are over the counter medicine

Lower T is part of getting older.  The only real solution is a regular exercise routine, eating healthy and lowering the booze intake.  Yes, it's boring and time consuming, but you'll eventually see positive results.

Medical science doesn't fully understand the interactions that hormones have in our body (Gut biome etc), but as a general rule it is definitely the gold standard, being fit & having a healthy diet.

HRT is also a good option & that can help people to be able to achieve other health outcomes (the relationship between T & insulin as well as a range of other hormones is complex, but there are a number of studies supporting what i am saying).

Go get some blood tests, see a few endocrinologist & educate yourself...

I had a recent T test at the lab in the Tonys gym complex.

Results were 505.  I’m assuming that’s in the normal range for 61 y.o.

Anyone know for sure?

I don't know either, but I'm interested in the topic.
I thought I would have the appropriate tests, get the results, then take them to a doctor for interpretation and treatment.
I guess the trick is finding the right doctor.

From a Google search, about 700 is considered average, so maybe you're a little low.  But maybe okay for a 61 y.o. guy.  It would be worth going to see a real doctor for a professional opinion.

Don't go to a G.P they no stuff all about hormones, You'll need to see an endocrinologist (hormone specialists) who will do blood test and advise on treatment.

The usual  dose for HRT is 1ml of sustanon 250 every 2 to 3 weeks. ive known guys who an endocrinologist has recommended even shorter intervals of injections.

If you got hormone problems see a doctor, believe me you will be glad you did.

There is plenty you can do naturally.  Exercising being probably the biggest thing.  Weight lifting especially focusing on large muscle groups like quads/chest.  Eat whole foods.  Lose belly fat. The not drinking also helps.  Don't drink out of plastic bottles/eat out of plastic containers https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20377311 .  Oh yeah and have lots of sex, just looking at hot girls can increase your testosterone.

Having said that if you are already in relatively good shape and are already doing most of those things then yeah there isn't much more you can do naturally.  I don't do all that shit by the way and my testosterone is marginally low but whenever I get back from Patts it is much higher because I exercise more here, drink tons of water, and a am never without hot girls to look at/spend time with.

The TRT mentioned should work and work faster than doing things naturally.  But that Androgel should have worked for you, maybe it wasn't legit.

I'm hoping someone will educate me here. I've heard that you can buy testosterone in Tim's pharmacy for direct injection and that  once a month is the usual suggestion. I was thinking of having a shot next time I have my annual monthly stay in Patts. At the same time, just buying it in a pharmacy without any tests seems as if it could be a bit dodgy to me.

Any thoughts?

The pharmacy near Tims won't administer an injection. They aren't a clinic, just a pharmacy. I've even seen the owners son refuse to apply a plaster to a cut for a customer.

The once monthly injection you are referring to is Nebido. It would do more harm than good for you if you were to have a single injection at the beginnning of your trip.  If your intention is to begin testosterone replacement therapy and you don't reside in Thailand, you are probably best off seeing a doctor at your home. You'll want to get tested before starting and as you go through the therapy the doctor will want follow up tests to monitor your hormone levels.

"Normal" T levels are 270 to 1070 ng/dL, but if one is in the 270 to 400 range, it's considered "low" and they will probably be experiencing some effects of low testosterone.

If you take two injections per week to raise your T to high "normal" levels (1100 to 1250), it's generally not unsafe.  The dangers of low T are much worse than having high T...  low energy levels, weight gain, low sex drive, depression, loss of muscle mass, no exercise, etc.  One has to experiment to get their dosage and frequency of injections right.  This is normally what a TRT specialist does for someone...

There is only so much that diet, supplements and exercise can do...  After ~40, if one doesn't artificially replace the main hormone that makes a man a man, they will be on a steady decline in the large majority of cases...  You also have to keep lifting heavy and doing cardio consistently and frequently...

Check out bulbine natalensis,  it's a herb which raises test, people get up to 800-1000ng after a few months use. Also look into deer antler good for stimulating natural gh release, diet is also huge, getting the right fats in your diet is essential for hormone production, your body need cholesterol for optimal hormone secretion.

Thanks for your advice manni2011. I knew that Tim's don't administer an injection but there are nearby clinics which will, one I know of which will not ask any questions. I heard that a single injection would significantly raise libido and energy levels. Thinking it through, it seems a risky option without prior medical tests. Decreasing alcohol intake and hitting the gym regularly would the better option, at least initially.

total T is not the number to look at

you want to look at your free T

T that is useful in the body

most T is either bound to SHBG or can aromatise if it gets to high

Ive never heard of sust being prescribed for HRT. and every 2-3 weeks for administration is a horrible protocol.

if you see an endo, be sure he is following up to date protocols for HRT, most endos are useless, you'd be better off with a urologist, they understand the reproductive system in more detail. If you see an endo 2 questions to ask are, does he allow self injections, and does he prescribe HCG, your waisting your time if the answers are no.call around and find one that does.

deffinately see a doctor so he can manage all the blood work you will need to get on track.

you said you did androgel for a month... aside from the low results... how did you feel?

androgel is poor low T choice..... but it can take time for the effects to be felt being a slow and low product.

anytime i have had a free T test done, it usually looks like they've just moved the decimal, and have not had much faith in their numbers, but there is a calculation you can do, the link is in phlagats post above....

most clinics say they check Free T but I have my misgivings... that calculator might be a better route.... it will give you the results in percentage... If you are at home, it might be a better to go through the many labs on line...you could try, discountedlabs.com

or    privatemdlabs.com..... but try the calculator as bloodwork is quite reasonable in patts.

as to a lab... I use Lifecare Labs Pattaya, on 3rd road, just down from Chan Tong hotel on the opposite side of the road

Please send me a PM if you have info on where to buy the test and get it injected.  I have my contacts here in the US, but during my next trip there, it would save me time if I already knew where to go...  Thanks in advance...
