Police intercept attempt to smuggle 11 Vietnamese people out of Thailand

Nong Khai immigration police arrested two Thai men for allegedly trying to smuggle six Vietnamese men and five Vietnamese women across the border to Laos.

They would have done better asking a Lao to help them get across, Nong Khai has stacks of Lao going back & forth every day for shopping. Thais can't keep their mouths shut, they're compulsive gossips. Let a Thai know you're doing something dodgy and within minutes it's spread all over the area, then minutes later someone's running to tell the cops.
