Quick review of the LK empress

Just thought I do a quick review of the LK empress. Stayed there twice now and prior to staying heard both good and bad reviews. I could not fault the place.

 

The rooms.

On both separate occasions the rooms where clean and beds where comfatable. Mini bar was fully stocked every day (but I suggest getting your stuff from the 7-11, which is cheaper) I think all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bathrooms where good a spacious. My friend who was also staying at the LK had problems with the water temperature when using the shower, but i didn't have this problem, I think It's a bit hit and miss in regards to the water temp. But on the whole I couldn't fault the rooms.

 

The food.

I found the food to be great and very tasty, also not to expensive . They have lots on the menu for all types, Weston and Thai foods. The room service was also great, you can order anything from the restraint menu to your room (between 9am-11pm I think). I can't comment on the breakfast buffet as on both trips I didn't make it breakfast once.....if u know what I mean
