I have just this for the baby so when we want to teach her it will be Mummy as the teacher and Daddy & Baby as the students.

 

Make it more fun for the baby and hopefully help Daddy too.

I just started learning the Thai alphabet using this video...

 

 

... am thinking about getting the whole series. The associations of pictures to letters makes this really easy for me to remember. Some of them are also rather hilarious.

IMHO best way to learn Thai is same way Thais learn, start with the cat sat on the mat stuff. Get the little kids books, start with basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and learning to read simple 2 & 3 letter words. Those kids books give a good foundation from which you progress to more complex stuff.
