Philippine Airlines good & about 8,000 Baht return.

3 hours 20 minutes flight MNL - BKK.

30 KG checked in baggage plus cabin case.

Thai Airways is the best on this direct route but normally  double the price.

Not sure where I read it (maybe Business Traveller) but Emirates I think it was from May are starting up connection to Clark as well.

No good for your specific flight but may be useful for others in future for Angeles City

Dubai - Cebu - Clark - Dubai.

They also have another flight that is Dubai - Manila.

Good info & post but crazy flying times & as a budget airline lots of extras  to add on.

Cheap as a rule.

If no alcohol is no problem for you, check Kuwait Airlines. They fly daily from KC to Manila with a brief stopover in Bkk.

Often you can nab a very cheap seat with them for just the Manila/Bkk leg.

Cheap as a rule.

I fly budget airlines all the time, Scoot, AirAsia & CP. Carry On luggage only. You just need to read carefully their pages & not click the add ons you do not want.

For my upcoming trip

Scoot Coolangatta - BKK 220

BKK - Manila 150

Clark - Coolangatta via KL 205

This trip BKK - MNL leaves @ 10-30am

My next trip I deliberately picked the 0 -50am departure from BKK.

Obviously being able to book well in advance helps
